You can mount them behind the gray carpeting against the metal portion of the chassis. Just make sure the gold piece does not come in contact with any parts that would be susceptible to heat like plastic.

I just instaled a set in my front turn signals this weekend, was pretty easy. Only issue I had was on the instructions it told me to tap a wire that i didnt hav. I just called Jlevi and they told me the correct colors. Finished up and they look very clean... now just cant wait to get my LUX5.0s to polish up the front lights!

does it come with resistors or not? And how many wires have to be cut?

Yes it does, just select the resistor option on the website.
There is no wire cutting, we include vampire taps that clamp over the stock wiring. The install is fully reversible and it does not cause any permanent markings on the stock wiring. You just need to clamp on to two total wires, the positive and negative of the turn signal wire. |

sorry to bring back an old thread, but i was wondering, for the equalizer, which wire is possitive which is negative?
and is the brown wire on the turn signal the negative terminal, while the blue wire is positive right?

I want led signals too but I really don't want to put in resistors that heat up 2-300 degrees and cause fire.. love the way they look and blink tho...
using replacement bulbs for now.. |

one more thing, what kind of taps do I have to use? I bought these used, so it didn't come with taps..
*if you have a picture of how to "tap" the wires that would be great* since i am a newb with electronics. thanks
