roundel replacing
Replaced all my roundels today with "carbon fiber" colored ones I purchased off E-bay /rom some guy in Taiwan. I ordered 'em 01/02/06, got 'em 1/7/06. used indtallation instructions from another DIY site:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/tech...30-Roundel.htm As for the wheels.i took some pics as I went....the hood and trunk emblems were straightforward, as outlined in the above referenced DIY. The wheel center caps were kind of interesting. At first I tried ti just stick on the new emblem as I had done on the steering wheel, but they wouldnt fit. So I ended up taking the wheel center caps off and replacing the insert with the new emblem. As you see in the oictures, I used a credit card to remove the center cap. Once the cap is out you'll notice five tabs arranged evenly around the cap. Using a small flat head screwdriver I opened these easily. Replace the insert and then work sdrawkcab from there.

Looks good, may do the same to match the CF lips. Thanks for the instructions.
