YAY! Finally Someone with a SS kit. Have yall seen any issues with the 1-2 shift while running the XEDE at WOT? Has it smoothed up? Can you post some pics of the whole assembly?

I use to complain about the 1-2 shift when driving our 335. The biggest improvement with the kit is probably the 1-2 shift. It is actually a blast to drive now and definetely smoother not to mention you dont have to worry about the infamous 1-2 shift that use to feel like it took an eternity to complete... As far as posting pics of the whole assembly, it is similiar to our previous kits that we sell, just designed for the 335. We will have pictures available soon enough.

No offense, I have many AA products on y E36M3 and they are the best, but is it available with a non-signature 8.25 oz knob (with gearbox pattern instead)? If so, I will order one immediately.

i assume this will work with stock knobs as well?

is the actual lever shorter or is the angle changed? the reason why i ask is because i have the e46 zhp knob which is already signifcantly shorter than the stock knob... and looking at how it looks installed on a 335i with the oem ssk... it sits alittle too low for me

Is there any impact on expected tranny life due to the SS kit? I have read before that SS kits can reduce the life of your tranny...

What advantages, if any, does this product offer over the OEM SSK?

I would also consider it too if the knob was optional and reduced the price of the kit.

i believe the oem kit, has a 25% reduction in shift travel, this one has a 30% whether that 5% is noticeable i highly doubt.

AA-

any pics installed? i'm sure it on your shop car already.

If its similar to the BMW Performace ssk, I would say 1 hour of labor.

will it fit the 328 e92?

besides it being a little shorter what's the big difference between the oem kit?

is it smoother at all?

And how much is it w/o the knob. Also, is this the full linkage assembly or just the shifter?

Although I'm sure it's a well made product, I can't justify the difference in price versus the OEM kit ($315.00 vs $183.00=$132.00) unless there's more than a 5% throw difference.

Hopefully AA has some other advantages or for me, it doesn't make sense.
