Great microfilter deal

Hey e90posters -

Just thought I'd share that Amazon has the Mann microfilter (stocK) for our cars for less than $15. I'm going to change mine after winter.

My CBS doesn't have show the microfilter .... I just thought it was changed at 50k.

Oh so it'll come up as a warning on it's own and doesn't show up in the cbs unless needing replacement ? My service info tab doesn't have a microfilter listed.

For anyone seeing this thread later on and this sale is over. Rock auto has the same Mann cabin filter for $18 normal price.

On a side not the the oem 335i oil filter is made by Mann also. It even says it right on the filter when you buy from BMW.

Rock auto has the same exact Mann oil filter for $10 normal price. The dealer wants $20+ for the same item.

Yes the rock auto Mann oil filter comes with normal o-rings and seals.

Most cars don't have the microfilter or spark plug CBS activated as I have found (including my own).

You can code them to be activated however - I activated them on my car using Nettodat coding. The CBS alerts are contained in Kombi module.

You can set them for either 'Mileage' alert or 'Time' alert

At any rate, it is normally suggested to replace microfilter 1x/yr

I know it is. Im saying for future reference when this sale is over. Rock auto has oem mann cabin filters(same as oem from dealer for under $20 all the time.

I remember calling the dealer and it was something ridiculous like $50. And another ridiculous mark up is the dealer oil filters for $20 each! There just reboxed mann filters. You can get them for $10 all over online.
