Well there is most definately more to this than meets the eye, but it is possible. I think I heard rumours about them changing the turbos, so thats prolly it.
We have VN/VL commodores (no I dont own one) with stallies and turbos running 10s/9s, so it is definately feasible. But the boost would have to be way more than 1bar without NOS. What was the 60'? As for a stock off the showroom factory floor C6 running 11.2@121+ u have got to be kidding. High 12s my friend at best. |

The numbers are incredible and he deserves a congrats. Low 11s is an unbelievable feat so early in the evolution of this car.
With that said, I do not believe those are his only mods either. Not trying to be rude, but I don't think things add up. |

That's pretty amazing he can get that time on the stock turbo's. Just goes to show how amazing this engine is. Wonder if they can make it into the 10's on the stock turbo's.

Running 11.2 is a fast time but when you put the NOS into the equation it doesn't make it that respectable and amaizing, it is still fast but aided by NOS though.

The 335 with NOS on dragtimes is a coupe... The chances seem to be slim to nill. Anything else you have for us? ![]()

Im pretty sure the car had Nos... Still 11.2 is insane fast for the 335 with stock turbos, It seems like VIP just wants the fastest 1/4 mile 335 on the planet and thats cool but thats not what most people want, i mean i still want my car to be street driveable on my 19" HRE's

Someone posted that VIP went 11.2@121 and all we hear from members is that "the car is a complete drag car now", "the transmission is going to fail", "it undriveable in the real world", "he should add a blower", parachute, and rollcage to it" etc. Basically a bunch of useless bullshit! What the hell is the purpose of all of this? I'm waiting to see the timeslips; but like the fact that the car is running solid numbers this early in the game! Hell Sunday I came damn close to posting 7second 1/8th mile times in a software, panel filter, 18inch DR coupe with a 1.79 60'. These cars are only going to get quicker over the course of the year. Enjoy the steady progression and be happy for all of the tuners involved. Sheesh! ![]() Also are you implying that a C5 Corvette is nothing more than a straight line runner? I'm hoping that I read that wrong. Please clarify.

So are you saying that VIP should discontinue pushing the envelope in regards to performance mods on the 335 simply because it is contrary to what members on E90post want? Help me out here...I'm trying to grasp the concept that is being pushed. It's illogical to me, I must admit this. I just don't get it! How streetable is your car right now on those 19inch HRE's with 4XXrwtq? That's something that I've always wondered...

Nobody else here is running 11.2s, so props to those guys who did it. I wouldn't do that to my car but hell, at least they're pushing the envelope and doing it while most people are posting about LED lights and the best way to wash their car.
Good on those guys who ran that time, even with the juice and locker. Ranger on Corvette forums ran his C6 Z06 to 10.98 @ 128, 100% bone stock down to RFTs. They're fast.

Why is it mysterious that VIP has a locked diff in the car...they're after the most traction available off the line. This diff seems to be the ticket with the 1.6 60' times I've seen them post!

Not a LSD, I view it as a welded / locked diff. Which means you cannot drive it on the street.
