Unfortunatly, theres nothing that new in these pics. What they do show us is that the facelifted E90 will include:

1) a new bumper design that is mildly changed, but more pronounced, with kidney grills that are more E92-like
2) a new hood, unclear what design they will go towards
3) very mild rear bumper change
4) new inner tailight cluster design, possibly going back to the original pre-production E90 tailight design (thats a trivia question for the newer E90 owners.. what was the original E90 tailight design that was nixed at the last minute

Because they are covered up, this is more a tip off as to what parts are being changed.

Some of the earlier shots I've seen of the taped over tail lights made me think of the e92 lights, apparently my homework is to find some pics of the previous concepts.

the larger mirrors, to meet the new EU regulation, are not as bad as i thought they would be.

Hint: find pictures of the original E90 clay models or a rare picture of the E90 body shell (minus body trim) that was inside a factory or some kind of building

I think the front will look better with the new kidneys and grille/bumper, but I don't like the new big sideview mirrors..I think the 'new' old design taillights are looking better! Here they are:

Damn you guys are good!!! Anyways, its pure speculation that BMW would use that design on my part. The only thing we know is that there will be some kind of change to the inner tailight design, we don't have any clues as to what the change would be quiet yet.

I had no idea that the 3 was going to have those tail lights. Looks like it had some Z4-ness in them.

YEP they are just like the z4 coupe/vert taillight after the 06 model year

that appears to be a fuel filler door on the lower rear bumper... you can even see where fuel (?) has dripped down the side from it.

Hmmm... interesting. The middle of the front bumper now has more of an E92 with an aero lip look to it.

Those mirrors look horrible... I hate turn signals on mirrors.

there are no turn signals on side mirrors -- that is just the tape....

hmm, given that the new e90 m3 has the current tail lights. its not likely they would change the tail lights on the new e90. OR mybe the current tail lights look aggresive as is, so they felt the need to make the new e90 more sedan/family like? just guesses
