My custom exhaust DP's ..review and vids

I finally got my custom 2.5in exhaust installed yesterday. The system consisted of Catless DP's, 2.5in piping, magnaflow x-pipe, Magnaflow glasspack mufflers, and quad tips. Ignore the diffuser missing i have to take it to the body shop tomorrow to get everything adjusted and cut. Im really happy the way the car sounds. It drives like a BEAST alot more power on the higher end. Also my car was very very jerky before and the car is as smooth as butter now.

Enjoy

Revving

No rasp? Must be those mufflers.

Looks awsome!! couple questions though

hows the drone?
how much was the cat-back alone? (not including DPs)
any problems running completely catless?

Thanks!

Wow, i'm pretty impressed that there is pretty much no rasp at all from what I can hear in your vids. I'm glad that it worked out nicely for you.

There is drone around 2k....what im happy about is on the highway @ 80 my car is revving at about 2900 and there is no drone which is perfect for trips

They wanted 700 for the catback alone...it came out to 1100 total including the catless downpipes, tips, install EVERYTHING....i thought i was a great deal

I wasn't into spending 1800 just for rear mufflers.

Zero problems running catless...no check engine light thanks to terrys 02 simms

Good to hear there is minimal drone, I cruise on the highway quite a bit so that would be a deal-breaker for me. Do your catless DPs smell bad, some guys out here have switched them out for catted DPs b/c they couldn't stand the smell. Was it difficult finding a good shop to do this?

Very impressive sound, you've gotta feel good with the end result after going for a custom job you never heard before!

Yeah there is drone but only when accelerating and its very easy to get rid of it...On the highway its not a problem at all....The smell isnt terrible but it is there. Its like not a bad odor just a smell that almost burns the inside of your nose. Im going to ask the shop if throwing in some small cats would throw off the entire system. Im lucky about the shop because they are the same people that are running 11.2 and have alot of experience with 335's.

That sound is really really good man!
I love how you can hear the scavaging affect going on that the X pipe is bringing out.

Most say that you can't get that with an FI car but you did it pefectly.
I'm wondering how different our systems are since I went with the Magnaflow custom exhaust too.
Yours sounds better than mine though!

This is mine:

Sounds great , a lot like Retrodrive's car.

I'd be pissed though if I was your neighbor and you were driving up and down the street that fast
