FS: Procede 1.47

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None
Item Interest
Sale of car is forcing me to sell my Procede 1.47 that has been installed in my 335i for only 10 months and under 6,000 miles. It was installed with no problems, performed beautifully with no problems (Never a check engine light or rough idle) and uninstalled with no problems. Currently, the Procede 1.47 with V2 upgrade is selling for 1295. I am not including the V2 upgrade with this sale, but you can purchase the V2 upgrade through Vishnu tuning for only 150. I am starting the bidding at 600 with NO RESERVE. So if youíre the only bidder, then itís yours for 600. 850 takes it. It is listed (with pics) on Ebay, if you are interested. Thank you. Link:

Here are a couple of questions answered (Plus a good excuse to bump my thread):

Q: what are the horse power and torque gains with this unit you are selling? Do you have instructions and a box for the system? Feb-01-08

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Here's an excerpt from an article in Edmunds back in February 2007 on this product: Peak wheel horsepower increased 75 hp from 265 hp to 340 hp over the privately owned BMW we tested in our first full test of the 335i coupe. But the real story here is the torque increase, which makes the 335i substantially more drivable than before. As we mentioned, the torque peaks at 390 lb-ft — 114 lb-ft more than stock. The margin decreases toward redline, although there's still a 50 lb-ft surplus. Full article: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=119485 If you get the V2 upgrade ($150), that is an additional 40-50 horsepower! It did not come with a box (Except the box it was shipped in). And the only sheets I received was the invoice (Paid around $1,300) and a sheet explaining DO NOT put gas in there less than 91 octane. The instructions you can download from the website. Here's the link: http://www.vishnutuning.com/BMW_support.htm Thanks.

Q: Are there any cut wires for the harness? Why are you not selling the V2 for the system? Will you include it for the right price? If i read your auction correctly, the buy it now price is 850? Thanks Mike Jan-30-08

A: Hello Mike. Thank you for your interest. I installed/uninstalled very carefully. If you do it right, there is no need to cut wires. So the answer is no. They connect in place, and I taped it with electrical tape. When I purchased the Procede 1.47 in January 2007, V2 upgrade did not exist at the time. That is why it is not included. Ironically I bought the V2 upgrade and sold it brand new last week on Ebay as well. I should have sold it as a package, but the Procede was still in the car and I had no clue Shiv included the V2 with the current set up. That is correct. The Buy It Now is 850. Plus 10 for shipping. Thanks. John
