Trying to spend my money on upgraded lighting, but confused... - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Been searching the forums for quite a bit, but I'm seeing all kind of information for the same thing.
Basically this is what I'm looking for:

1) Upgrading to "white" Angel Eyes
2) Upgrading fog lights to matching "whiteness"

What brand and model # should I buy and from what site? Can anyone link me direct?

Are angel eyes in any way a replacement for the regular lights that come on at dark, or are they just for DRL?

GP Thunders 7/8500K is pretty popular on the website.. There isn't really a model number or anything, you can just search on ebay. I got mine from ebay without any problems.

I'm not really too sure as to what you're saying about the replacement, but just to take a shot at answering your question, you're just changing the bulbs for your e92, which changes the color. Those angel eyes are on as DRLs if you turn them on yourself, and they stay on even when you turn your HIDs on.

I read that 7000/8500k is too blue... do GP Thunders come in 6000K? Is there a certain bulb type that I need to get or are they all the same bulb type?
Is it "H8" ?

What do I get for my fogs to my new angel eyes and HID lights?

get the GP thunders 7500K. it's not too blue. besides, once your hid's come on, the color of the angel eyes turn more yellow than if you have the angel eyes on by itself during the day. i believe the bulbs or H8. And the fogs are same bulbs as angel eyes

I just bought a set of GP Thunder 8500K H8 from hid-lights.com and a set of GP Thunder 7500K H8 from hidlightsusa.com

Let's see which I like better, then i will get a second set for my fogs

Can u take a pic of the 7500k h8's as the fogs and compare them with the 8500ks after? I just wanna see if theres a big difference between the 2...thanks.
