confused on the M Footrest - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

well basically like the title states i just got my ///m footrest and it came with some kinda paper that has glue on the other side i guess, but does this just go over the old or something or does the old one need to be taken out? I'm a bit confused about this some input would be nice
