Guys, the photo provided is from an E60 5 series. The base plate/adapter combo on the E9X 3 series goes into the center console. So it should work just fine for those of you with 6fl. Thanks for the interest!

We can e-mail you the BMW installation instructions over when your order is processed if you'd like.

Get those orders in, I'm thinking this thing's going to look pretty trick!

It looks like there will be no more space left to connect a headset jack to the aux input? Also, the total price seems a bit too much.

will the 6fl be in the way

Honestly if you have the 6fl option stick with that, the iphone will work and charge, with that set up the only disadvantage in the phone will be in the glove box. " at this point the phone work fine with my brother in laws 335 with NAV" I didnt bother to check or ask if he did any updates I do know at one point he had the hack on the phone that may have been long removed.

I brought the eject box, adapter and Snap in adapter thinking it would give steering wheel funcitons, unfortunitly it doesent : but it does charge the phone well though you will not be able to access the aux port.

So, how do you listen to music if you cannot connect it to the aux?

That's the only picture I have, until someone installs it and posts up a pic!

We don't know a whole lot more than you do at this point. I haven't even seen one of these kits yet, but it does seem like you may have to remove the phone from the cradle to connect it to the aux. Silly, I know. But hey, we didn't design it!
