So what are your initial impressions of the SSTT?

it opened the car up well from the first instant I hit my throttle after acceleration. The car is noticeably faster to myself and my passengers. I killed a wrx, 335i and porsche cayman last night, so that felt aswesome.

**also, it took me honest to got 15 seconds to install with a penny on my first ever try. this is a great plus.

I still feel like I need/want more power..

First of all...welcome to the SSTT club. Enjoy and drive safely!

Second I would be cautious about adding mods when using the SSTT. Before bolting anything onto your car, I recommend calling Jeff@eurobahn and making sure they have not had any compatibility issues with that product and the SSTT.

A drop in filter like BMC or K&N would be a next step.

Is it really that easy for install? Im not a DIY type of guy at all. Also did you disconnect the battery when you installed, or just let the car go into sleep mode? I ask because I remember someone posting the car felt fast on the 1st day and the 2nd day it felt slower again, and he had to disconnect the battery I believe to reset it and it was ok again.

Grats!

I have an SSTT, BMC filter and golf tee mod and it is good for me.
An exhaust was on the menu, but with a short term lease I decided against it.

Im not mechanically inclined myself. All I did was felt around where the tmap sensor is, I felt the "clip" that needs to be pulled up with a penny. I put the penny between my pointer and thumb fingers, slid it between the clip and BAM it was loose. I plugged the tuner, turned the car on, let it warm up at idle and whipped it.

no codes, no issues, nothing.

And I put the car in sleep mode. I let it sit outside in 30 degree weather for an hour, opened the hood, locked the doors and began the install.

def recommend for guys who dont wanna spend 2k on a dinan flash.

I would look into a cold air intake, but like me most people seem to be waiting for a few more options to hit the market (stett, vishnu, logic, helix to name a few)

DP's would be your next move before exhaust, more gains to be had for less $$.

i would go with dps before exhaust. imo, besides sound and weight savings i don't see much if any improvement with aftermarket exhaust in regards to performance..

better saving that kind of scratch for something with good gains. if your looking for more power, check out v2 or helix. i myself am waiting on the helix and holding over with sstt until then.
