E90 Tyre Options

Hi everyone,

What tyre make/type do you all have on your E90's?

I am about to order the 162's and have been given Bridgestone and Michelin options, the former being cheaper. Any ideas which is the better tyre - wet weather traction is a top priority. It's always raining here!

If we order a car here in the US, will we have a choice of tire brand? I recall reading a different post that said you get whatever tire brand they happen to have on hand at the plant the day the wheels/tires are installed. Also, if you do ED, does that affect whether you get a choice of tire brand? I definately want Michelins, if I get a choice........

I had Michelin conti-sport2 tyres on my previous Audi A3 MkII and thought they were excellent. Further feedback is much appreciated

conti-sport2 tyres are made by Continental, hence the Conti...not Michelin I believe.
