Hi all!
I’m looking to get a set of summer rims and tires for my e90 2007 328xi. I’ve done some research as to what size and combination will fit on my car, but would just like to confirm a few details. Ideally, I would like to pickup a set of the BMW Performance Wheels (Style 269): http://accessories.bmwusa.com/ItemView.aspx?modelId=215&categoryId=133&productCa tegoryId=&menuId=6&subItemId=3 What I’ve learned so far (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111736 ) is that 19” rims are acceptable for my XI in defiance of what BMW seems to believe (http://www.mileoneparts.com/partloca...subcat2=121694) Further more, I’ve learned (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108185) that the ideal 19” tire set-up is 235/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the back. Lastly, I was unable to find any details whether I will encounter any issues with these 19” rims on my XI with the H&R Sport springs. From my understanding, the H&R Sport springs only lower my 328xi to the approximate height of the 328i with sport package. In addition, 19” rims on the sport e90 3xxI’s poses no issues. Therefore, logic would dictate that I shouldn’t have any issues. Like I mentioned, I would like to confirm these details: 1) I can run 19” rims on my 328xi 1.1) I can run the BMW Performance Style 269 19” rims (Is the offset okay? Do I need any spacers to avoid rubbing? 2) I am able to do 1.0 and 1.1 with H&R Sport springs installed 3) The ideal tire set-up is 235/35/19 275/30/19 Many thanks in advance for the advice and information! Regards Savicbo |

I can't confirm most of your findings, but I will say that with respect to the "ideal tire set-up" for the BMW Performance Wheels 19", my understanding after asking around and getting quotes is that it's 235/35/19 255/30/19 when going with run-flats, and 235/35/19 265/30/19 when going with non-run flats. The run-flat specs are BMW's own specifications when selling the Performance Wheels as a set, while the non-run flat specs are what is recommended at TireRack and other online specialty retailers.

That's what I was worried about.... can anyone else confirm this information? And I should have added it in, but I'll be running NON-RUNFLATS.Savicbo |

with all wheel drive just make sure your overall tire size is the same. check tirerack for tire specs. try a 225/35/19 and a 265/30/19.

Has me worried, apparently certain people are experiencing rubbing issues with H&R Sport with 19", but on the regular 'i' models... Anyone have any info for the 'xi' models? I've been looking hard for more info, but I haven't had any luck ![]() Savicbo |

you can use 19s on your car... just make sure that you have a low profile tire so you have no rubbing issues (35 or 30 profile tire)... i think you can run a 19x8 wheel in the front and up to 19x9 in the back... or you can use 19x8 all around and add a spacer in the back... but look at my advice in the montreal discussion section...
