You'll need Function3/Option2

Hi Tom,
I've had mine installed on my sedan for a couple of weeks now, but the autofolding mirrors are really hit or miss. I have the 3rd setting on auto so it should work, but it works only maybe a quarter of the time. I should be able to fold and unfold with just one click on my FOB right? I don't have to hold down the FOB for any extended amount of time (such as 2 secs), right? Please give me any input you may have. I really like this product otherwise.

hey tom,

i just purchased the remotekey and it doesnt unfold the mirror when i unlock my car?? i programmed to function 3/setting 1...(doesn't work)....it only fold mirror in when i lock, but strangely, one time when i lock my car, the mirror unfolded??? funny~!!! and also, the wires seem to be loose?? i have to use my fingers to hold it tight for the remotekey to blink, but once i let go, the light stays on??? please give me advice....thanks

So Tom,
Do you have any suggestions for mine? As I posted earlier, the folding mirror function is really hit or miss, especially when unlocking. All my connections seem tight and just get the blinking led like I'm supposed to so any suggestions?

If using the Fucntion3/option1 mode - this is automatic fold in when locked. I use Option2 since I like to activate the command manually.

I installed mine last week, works great and easy to install- BMW should have provided this functionality from the factory..........
