The Revscene summer meet is coming up in less than a month. Let's get a pre-meet going!

BMW PRE-MEET LOCATION: SILVERCITY RICHMOND
MEET: 9:40 AM
Roll-Out: 10:20 AM
Arrive at RS Meet: 10:35 AM

Here are the details for the main meet:
Date: Sunday, Aug 30
Time: 11AM - 3PM
Location: Adesa Vancouver (7111 No. 8 Road, Richmond BC)


FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN RESERVING SPOTS
Alright, so I have been back and forth with the organizers trying to figure the whole situation out, and they have finally accepted our request for a reservation!

For those who are interested in reserving a spot at the main meet, Please PM ME ASAP! Technically the deadline was yesterday night, but I may still be able to squeeze out a few spots, so let me know!

There will be a donation of $5 required, per spot, which will be going to a local charity.

Keep in mind that reserving a spot is not mandatory. You can still tag along and roll in with us without reserving a spot. HOWEVER, reserving a spot will guarantee us parking TOGETHER upon arrival. If we roll in without reserving spots, there is no way we will find 20 spots together.


For the pre-meet, park in the second row over from Steveston Highway. Don't park in the first row, second row is best for pictures (You'll see why when we get there)

UPDATE ON ROUTE:
Revscene decided to change the location of the meet from Adesa Richmond to Adesa Vancouver (Still in Richmond technically). Because of that, I have had to alter the route a bit. Due to the design of the roads, this route will not have a waiting area. My plan is to drive slowly on Westminster Hwy so that others can catch up.

Should be pretty straight forward, but here are some basic rules to keep in mind:
- No burnouts/excessive revving
- No street racing
- No excessive speeding
- No reckless driving
- Don't run red lights

As mentioned before, we will be waiting for everyone to catch up along Westminster Hwy, so there is no need to run red lights or excessively speed! Keep in mind that because we are travelling in a group of BMWs, there will be more attention towards us, and anything stupid will likely result in someone calling the cops and claiming "street racing."

Awesome! I have a group of around 5-6 BMWs coming as well, so we've got ~10 cars so far.

As for the location, if nobody objects, lets finalize Ironwood. Lansdowne is not lowered car friendly, and Richmond Centre has too much traffic.

Actually, we should meet at the big parking lot by silver city Instead. I just realized that there are 3 red lights between Ironwood and before we get on the highway. Might lose a few of us there. The road that leads from Silvercity to the highway has no lights at all.

Yeah I bet it's gonna be quite popular. It's the lot that makes the most sense for pre-meets.


I have updated the pre-meet location and route. Once again, choosing the route with the least amount of traffic lights (2), and least amount of left turns (0).

Hey e'rbody - I'd be in too if I didn't break my hand biking Mt. Seymour last weekend It's my left hand so I could probably do it if my car had a slushbox, but even driving my wife's auto X3 is a bit of a challenge..
