I just dont get how you go from winning a world championship to being the worst team in the NBA. They lost 10 straight games they have 2 allstar players, and an awesome coach but they still cant get a win.

LAKERS FTW! Gasol, Bryant, Fisher, Bynum, Odom, and other Lakers teammates will be constituents of the best team that has played in over a decade. Lakers are going to win it (i hope).

Anyways, I digressed, with Shaq gone it only exacerbates the problem with the Miami Heat (even though you got Marion) I can't think off the top of my head, besides Wade, who will be able to lead the team (I never really thought of Marion as a leader). The Heat needs a lot more depth to recover next season.

With Shaq on the team, they were horribly constrained by the cap and his $20M/year salary. Now that he is gone, and with some expiring contract, and a possible #1 pick, they will be in good shape for the future.

On another note... as a Knicks fan, pat riley is the most overrated coach in the league.

Dwayne Wade is also one of the most overrated players in the league. You won a championship because of 'Zo. Dallas couldn't score with he and shaq swatting away anything that came through the lane. Plus the nba overhyped Wade's playoff contribution in an effort to promote the league's clean faced rising star. Ohh how the mighty have fallen
