I asked for your opinions a while back and the results were clear. I think I will drop it with a set of H&R Sports.
I think I am close to relapsing...it's a sickness... Danny

I debate this issue in my head, as I feel the drop looks good, but don't like the idea of having to slow down so much to take little bumps or go up driveways. I hate that front spoiler scraping sound.

Yea, I hear ya! I've been driving lowered cars for a long long time and I have enjoyed driving the 330 with stock zsp for sure. Thing is, I still slow down for bumps as if I was lowered anyways! I don't have to take crazy driveway angles anymore, but I don't anticipate that the H&R sports will require that anyways. The main thing I have to do is be more careful about how far I pull into parking spots. I've gone over the parking block or have gotton real close in the past...lucky it has cleared them most of the time and I only have a few minor rashes under my front bumper. Danny

hahaha, i'm used to driving lowered cars too. even though my e90 isn't lowered, i still drive it like it is. i'm trying to keep it stock for the most part. but i know myself, i'll be itching for a set of h&r's.

About driving like it's already dropped, yea, I think it's just a habbit if you've been doing it long enough! Plus, I like going slow and smooth over bumps, it's more comfortable. At least the e90 won't be as low as my other cars, I had to damn near stop to go over speed bumps before, stupid! Danny

I remember your last poll. Most said not to lower the E90. I can never keep my car completely stock either. I have to do something. I hate keeping it stock, simply because it looks just like any other e90 on the road. All my previous cars were lowered. I scraped everywhere with my last car. One reason I don't want to go with coilovers again. Why? Those are the best, but simply due to the fact that I would have so much temptation of lowering it to the max. I am still debating whether to go with H&R sport or not. I really don't want to deal with warranty and camber issue anymore.

I'm hoping (probally against hope!) that Sport's will have a minimal effect on camber. I know what you mean and it's no fun regarding warranties, uneven tire wear and scraping! Danny P.S. Last night my family and I went to our fav icecream joint, pretty steep driveway. I scraped slightly, going very slow of course, and I thought how much pain I would (will) feel hearing the E90 drag across the tarmac... I couldn't even take my old Prelude into that parking lot, I would have gotton stuck and would've ripped of my OEM front spoiler!

i don't want a super slammed car, just want to close up that wheel gap a bit. i think h&r sports should do the trick. i also think it'll have a minimal impact on camber. just make sure you get your car aligned after.
