3 Mods = Wow Power!

UPDATED FEB 28, 2008

well heres my take on the V2 K&N DROP IN FILTER UR CATLESS DP MODS:

1. tremendous amount of torque when in any gear at any rpm
2. u will have to seriously buy a new set of the STICKIEST tires on the market (if you dont already have a set)
3. 1st and 2nd gear is shear power. i accelerate 3/4 of the way and my tires are already spinning out.
4. the sound of the turbo spool is
5. i barely even feel turbo lag if any.
6. 3rd gear is when theres some sort of boost drop. (u'll feel the power from 1st to 2nd, but once you get to 3rd it loses a certain amount of power.)
7. 4th gear on up is sheeeeeeeer BLISS

to sum it all up... i love this set up!

note: there is no check engine light with the catless ur dp, HOWEVER, it does pop up at times when driving a certain amount of miles. BUT once you turn your car off and turn it on - NO CEL. but i hear you can buy a 02 sensor to completely take it out.

*THERE IS NO LOSS IN POWER WHEN IT LIGHTS UP

so last saturday i take my new and improved 335i (v2, UR catless dp, and k&n drop in filter) to my friends house. he asked me if he could drive it, and of course being the nice guy that i am i say yes. but before i let him get in the car i asked him if he was sure if he could handle all the power. his response was "pssssshhhh yeah". so now im just laughing to myself knowing that he has no idea wut hes in for.

so he drives us to a straight away with no cars in sight. i take off dtc and i told him to let it rip. (mind you that he has an audi a4). he has one hand on the steering wheel and one hand on the stick; before we even get to 4000 RPM he screams "OH SHIT!!!! WUT THE FUCK?" and starts losing traction. he immediately puts both hands on the wheel like we were going to die or something. hahhahha. the look on his face was priceless. i guess its one of those stories where you had to be there. but anyway he parks it to the side of the road, gets out of the car and tells me to drive it back home. LOL! so i take the drivers seat and let it rip. by the time i got to second gear hes pullin on my passengers right handle (i dont know wut its called but its located on the top right of the passenger side... you know wut im talking about =) and he says he might break it off if i dont slow down. LOL.

so yeah he said hes never riding in my car again. lol

I just intalled mine 2 days ago and they are great. Turbo and exhaust sound are amazing. If you install it over stock you should see about 30whp increase. If you install it over PROcede, only about 10whp increase due to the lack of map.

Yes, they are awesome.

NOTE: It feels like I have lost just a bit of low-end torque, but gained la lot of mid and high end hp and torque.

oh really alot of low end torque? heheh for some reason i feel like a whole bunch of low end torque. my wheels wont stop spinning out every time i try to gun the car. lol. even on second im still spinning out... but its ok! i love all that power. i just have to figure out a way to put it to the ground. hmmmmm i think i just have to buy me a new set of STICKIES!

Yeah, I know you don't have a CEL now.. but you will... i promise you. You will. The third gear thing happens in my car as well. And i have an Xede and Catless DPs..
