Renegotiating your residual value Anyone done this?

Just watched a interesting video on money talks about renegotiation your leased vehicle when the time is up. Just curious if anyone has done this before? Seems like it could work. The video says to give it a shot you might just be shocked at what they are willing to take. It says to start out at $500 over book price. I might give it a try with some other negotiations.

Anyone recommend that I pruchase the upgrade 6yr 100k service warrenty. Anyone with high mileage running into a lot of problems. Iv taken good care of my car and am leaning on not getting the upgrade.

Thanks in advance...

I haven't tried it, but I'm sure it's possible. I'm thinking I have a decent shot at it with my E90 330.
