just run the idea by them and see what they say, I dont think i have any Porsches coming so that would be something cool. Even if they don't want to bring a car though, they're still invited to come a represent the shop. We'll see what they say though :

do you think it should be that way, is that what most shows do? I was thinking of just filing up the rows from front to back as people show up but now that I think of it, I like the idea of separating them might be better

Yeah, they usually separate the different makes of vehicles, this way it will look a lot better. If you mix all cars, it will look like just an ordinary parking lot. lol!

here's my idea for the layout if you havent seen my Vortex post in a while. Obviously I'm open to suggestions for the arrangement. Here are some satellite pics of where the show will be

Our Parking Lot

Spectator Parking Lot

The main table is where we will have speakers to play music and give out some prizes throughout the day. Its also where I will announce trophy winners at the end

What's the address? I can't see the pics of the parking lot. My company firewall blocks some of the sites. For example, if the pics are from photobucket, I cannot see them.

bah it won't blink fast enough and May will be around the corner... Time flies men...

Buegie how many cars you have so far, seeing as all e90'ers pilling up pretty fast over here I can only imagine how people line up on other forums...

This sounds like it's going to be a big "season opener"

well its been less than a week since i put it up on most of the forums and I've already gotten probably 60+ people that say they will be there. I have a feeling that a good portion of those people will actually show up to especially you e90 guys. You all seem pretty excited about it. I just have to keep these posts at the top of the forums so the excitement doesn't fizzle out since it is some time away

Ryan, I just hope that the parking lot can accomodate all the cars that are going to show. lol!

Just curious, it might have been posted on your first post, but how many cars can the parking lot fit?

Got the pics Ryan. The e9x members will take the first 2 rows near the vendors. lol!

And just to let you know. You should keep track of all the forums that you post on and how many cars will attend. It seems like the lot will only fit about 200+ cars. And seeing that you posted in a couple of forums, if there are over 200+ cars, then there will not be enough room.

The reason I am saying this is because there was a meet in Staten Island for Euros too and so many cars showed up, that the cops came and kicked everyone out. I know that this is a different meet and you have permission to use the parking lot, but I'm just worried that there might be too many cars. You really have to think about it. Or if anything, setup some type of registration and keep a list of the cars attending.

If you need help, just let me know and I will see what I can do to assist.

Actually everybody that attends will get one ballot and they will vote for their fav car in each category. I wanted to have a judging panel but I really don't know anyone that knows every brand of Euro car that in depth enough to be able to fairly judge everything. Hopefully the weather is nice that day because I have no way of getting in touch with everybody that plans on coming. Right now I'm thinking that rain or shine, we have to have the show

I'd like to keep some type of list of registered people but its so hard to get them to commit to coming. I'll get a form made up ASAP though and get it converted to a PDF file so that i can get it up on the internet. That way we can have an "at least" number or people for the show. The problem is that after that p-lot is full there really isn't anywhere else to go. I never asked the school but I know that the fields are totally off limits because we are really into our sports teams and stuff. It will all depend on how many spots i count in the lot tomorrow morning
