Route 1 bridge Southbound into PA is an absolute disaster. Used to be rough but passable, not so much anymore. Pick your side road.

I think ill add to this list. forgive me if some were repeated.

1)E 233 st in the bronx, right in front of Our Lady of Mercy Hospital garage. They aren't potholes, just globs of extra concrete from typical shitty nyc road construction. at LEAST 6 inches high. i seriously doubt any of you will be driving there, but just in case.

2)avoid cross bronx expressway. potholes are conveniently located under the underpasses where you cant see them ahead of you, mostly in the right lane.

3)Southbound on FDR, past Houston st, bubbled 2 left tires in an unavoidable ditch spread over left and middle lane. it looked like a ditch they make prior to filling it in to make it level. i guess its filled by now, but i havent gone down there since.

4) west end ave, near the bmw dealership. its a warzone

5)ANY street in manhattan is a threat. dont get pressured by a low-life cabbie, or any low-life driving a van for that matter. take your time and drive SLOW.

2)rt 287 south from franklin lakes to pompton plains

Fck it Jersey sucks with potholes and its only going to get worse with our shitty weather and shitty highway repair... pay so much in taxes and they can't even fill in a few holes??!!!

I went to Manhattan today and drove thru BQE in the middle of the strong rains early this afternoon. I hit a pothole so deep that my soda can jumped off the cupholder into my wife's lap. The sound was so bad I thought my rim had been damaged. Fortunately my stock wheel held up pretty good.

I've been driving in BQE for the past 10 years and I think the road condition is at its worst currently. Just miles and miles of bad road from Queens to Brooklyn.

I find NJ roads to be pretty good... at least compared to NYC. Try driving in BQE and you'll see what I mean.
