Need help with resonators.

hi guys, i want to remove the resonators from my 335i sedan and would like some guidance on how to do it or where i can do it here in miami. I would aprreciate a descriptive response as i am unfamiliar with this procedure. Also do i need to cut my exhausts or do something in the likes of it? thanks

I'm assuming that you are referring to the secondary cats, right? There is really no way to remove them unless you either cut them out and replace that section with straight piping or you can just go with a catback exhaust that replaces them. A few companies offer midpipes as well that replace them, but they are all larger than the stock exhaust piping.

since you have an e90 you have 2 secondary cats and a resonator. If you want to remove these without buying an exhaust sytem you need to cut them out. Just find a muffler shop in your area that seems to be reputable and tell them what you want to do. They will be able to guide you. It shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred bucks or less. Here's a thread on the subject:
