I never noticed this before on the car, or the 2 cars before that were tinted by the same shop.

I heard this can happen if the guy doesn't do it right. I got mine done at TWTINT by Leo, and he was awesome. He is in costa mesa, close to where you are. PM for details if you want his info.

I did notice a few scratches on my window.. I plan on going back to the tint shop to have them re-done.

The light scratches are usually caused by dust in the rubber/felt seal at the bottom of the window. Some tint shops are willing to fix it for free, while others will make you pay.

ALWAYS ask about scratches before/during your tint job. If they tell you that there shouldn't be any as long as you keep your car clean, you've got some pretty nice leverage at getting it fixed for free if some scratches do show up.

tint connection in CM has consistently scratched my windows everytime. never again will i give them business. Does anyone notice a single hairline scratch in the center of the window on the inside after the tint is on? particularly on the e90?

I was gonna ask the same thing! I just got my "scratch resistant" F1 pinnacle done and there were scartches on both front windows. So I had them redone for free, but after a week I rolled the windows and got scratched again. They said it was either something in the door panels or the super tight sealings. I believe it's not their fault, but I have having scratched tints, they look so cheap now...

Search for "felt." Usually it's the rear windows on e90s.

Well, they're scratches that go from top to bottom and you don't need to get close to notice...
