You cannot argue with that, I also have a two year PCP with a monthly payment of less than 470 and zero risk in terms of 4x4 depreciation. my deposit was only 1K!

I pick up my GL next saturday, what spec did you get?
Command, Memory pack, parktronic, Telephone, 6cd changer, heated seats, privacy glass, tracker.

What is your spec?

I love the GL buy as carl would say aits FOOOKIN massive.

Steve - if the new toy is the family runabout, are you also getting rid of a nearly new SMax?

Had the car since october and only done 2500 miles so I couldnt consider it run in as such. But its averaging 23mpg, in traffic it sits at 18mpg-21mpg and on the motorway does about 32mpg with the occasional blast of the right foot. I cant see any reason why it wont average 25+. But with all these hills on our side of the pennines I'm more than happy with the consumption.

Steve

How long will you have owned your 335d for and how many miles have you done in it?

I looked at a ML today in a car park and for a big 4x4 it has a nice shape to it. This one was black what colour is yours?

Stevie, my GL is Black with black leather upgrade and heated seats; (Comand/parktronic are standard), running boards, memory pack, 6cd, reversing camera, telephone pre wire, 19" wheels, privacy - I got 7K finance deposit, VAT taken off, paint protection put on (for what its worth), boot liner, full tank of diesel and the privacy fitted by the dealer.

The GL is Fooookin massive. I am looking forward to the abuse!

ive had the 335d since april 07

We've gone for Silver, not having another black car as the 335d is a complete t**t to keep clean.

I had a look at the Q7 and X5 but i liked the ML better so thats the one i went for, oh and did i mention the 4L V8 Deisel engine.......MONSTA

Does it make a difference if the car has 70g/km more than the 335d?

especially when we're never going to stop 1billion chinese people buying a fridge!!! In reality our choice of car matters very little to the co2 debate.

Black is a real pain in the butt to keep clean. My next car will not be black either.

The V8 diesel does it make a good sound or is it just the sheer torque of the engine?

Nice choice Steve, the ML looks great. Now what you really need is a car trailer to tow with it.
