New Alloys

Just want some opinions please fellas - I have an titanium silver e90 320d se, as you well know the standard alloys are shite, so with colour in mind any ideas on decent alloys? I have been looking for mv3's but getting fed up waiting for decent set at the right price, I saw an e90 with 19'' today that looked good, any opinions please would be grateful
p.s. I don't want to go over the top looks wise i.e. ac alloys as i use the car for work

been offered some mv3 alloys today but the tyre sizing dose not seem right - font = 225,45,18
rears = 255,40,18

this is not a reprint either (the numbers)
are these copies?

Si,

Looks very sweet!.. are those 19" versions of the OEM 18" M Sport rim?

Why they didn't do the M Sport in 19" is beyond me - anyone know why?

Still lovin the remap - had a run in with a 545i last Friday.. that was fun!

A few years ago I had a 2nd hand 330, the car was only a year old at the time, and I took the alloys off 1 summer's day to clean them and remove the grime/brake dust etc. It was then I noticed "non OEM" was stamped on the inside of one of the spokes of each wheel. They looked identical to the genuine article though in every other way and when in the future I part/exed the car onto the dealer, they never questioned it.

Shouldn't they be 225/40 front 255/35 rears?

decided not to bother with him
seems a bit odd that he has offered another set as well that takes it to 3 sets available in 2 weeks - me thinks someone is stealing to order!

Funningly enough I've had an e-mail today from ebay about some Land Rover seats the other half had bid on. Ebay have withdrawn the sellers auction due to 'fradulent' use of ebay policies. This seller appeared to be endowed with alot of seats as well as I discovered after I'd done some 'fishing'.

Unfortunately criminal activity on the web is big business. I'd be worried about 'big brother' TBH. Too risky!

Hope you find some wheels though.

sorry to bring up an old post but I still have had no joy trying to find some MV3 alloys at a decent price, what is you guys opinion of the ebay ones? I can get a set for around 400 quid but the rear sizes are not the same as originals i.e. 8J and not 8.5J is this the width? if so what size of spacers would they need?
sorry for lots of questions!

Jaspy it might be worth ringing this guy, he has a big selection of used Genuine or new replica and has a very good reputation, I know a lot of people who`ve bought from him. Long way from you but courier for wheels is only cheap enough nowadays.

No I didn't.. it got to 'silly speeds' real fast so I backed off, neck and neck IIRC, he wasn't pulling away put it that way, they are 325BHP...
Shamed a 2008 Focus RS the other night - he was thrashing the back end out of it (it must of been mapped as I only walked past it on a dual carraige way run from a round about) - I smiled as I passed him, then he clocked the 'D'... he looked suprised!
A tweaked Cupra R had a go the other day with the same result
