You don`t want a diesel vert mate (the E93 vert already weighs a ton). You want one of these. http://www.911virgin.com/996jdo.htm

I enjoyed my Z4 I think it would be a fun car for her and even better if you can use it as well.

So does anyone know why BMW do not do a 335 D E93?

Seems strange when they do a 330 D E93?!?!?

It's really odd. I read one press article some months ago which suggested that BMW did not see a market for a 335d vert, with diesel verts being something of a 'niche' product.

I think there would be plenty of demand, but BMW have had nerves about this before.

In 2004 they launched the first diesel coupes 320cd and 330cd. Then shortly after they added the engines to the convertible range. However, the 320cd vert was detuned to reduce engine noise as BMW felt it wouldn't work otherwise.
