Red face Murphy's Law...

So finally, this last weekend, I brave the detail your car concept. Took about 4 hours, ok, I can deal with it. My arms hurt, but hey, my car looks great. Course Murphy's Law kicks in, the fires in the Sierra, (which was suppose to be a controlled fire that went awry). So everyone is getting evacuated and my car is full of ashes. People tell me don't get it wet, or the ashes will stick. I try to drive fast, hoping the ashes will "fly" off. But what should I do now? Should I wash now or borrow a leafblower and try to blow nooks and crannies?

Oh, to top it all off, I get the flat tire warning signal for the 3rd time. Last week I got it (got a new tire replaced, but missed the Hurry Curry meet). This time, I was on my way to meet up with friends at a cafe. When I get it back from the dealer, I've decided to leave my car parked for 2 weeks while I'm in Chicago. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Take a soft dry towel and gently 'dust' your paint. Or get a california car duster.
