Tire help 335XI!
I need some help i am about to order the EX-M1's
19x8.5 ET35 (Front) 19x10.5 ET40 (Rear) would these fit on a E90 335XI, also if it fits what tires would be best 235/35/19 for the fronts , 265/30/19 for the rears. Would i have any rubbing issues on a 335XI stock height with 275/30/19 for the rears? thanks |

Is your XI a coup or sedan. The sedan can take the wider width in the rear. The 40 sounds about right as you are running 10's in the rear. I don't know of any XI's running this setup yet. Nice wheels though. Buy them and let is know!

07-335XI, funny you should be asking. I have just started looking at the EX-M1s as well. I worry that the 10.5" in the rear on the coup will hinder handling and performance of the car. I'm not a total straight line guy and much prefer the twisties. So I wonder if the 10.5" rear (8.5" up front) will buggar up the handling on a car that already has plenty of oversteer.

I was worried that adding that much rubber and added weight from the tires and rims would cause handling issues. Anyone out there have 8.5" and 10.5" staggered set up? How does your setup handle in the twisties?
