M Sport airbag

After owning the steering wheel for months now, I have finally got an airbag on ebay, got in from work today opened the box and a firkin scratch across the bmw badge, can these be replaced or do I just send the whole thing back to the seller?

dont think i could not trust ebay for a airbag as this is the most important piece on the steering wheel if you had a crash and it didnt go off what would would u be think i hope this airbag goes off,ii think i would pay a little more and get one from bmw i did here fitters dont like fitting them as they could go off

I'd wanna buy from a trusted source that you can go back to if it didn't go off. Better get yourself a rabbits foot.

the fella is now saying it wasnt scratched but when the sale drawing is blown up 5x its size you can see the scratch - he is saying what do I wanna do now
e-bay stated that I have to wait around 10 days before even opening a dispute, although the tw4ts still have the commision

I'd ask for my money back and give him the wheel and let that be the end of it. Otherwise you'll probably get a lot less back through the dispute mechanism of eBay. I've been through it before and ended up worse off - luckily it was only a low value item.
