would i still need to drop if i have sports package on 19"s

i wanna get 19" rims but i uno if i need to drop. and i have sports package. i dont care that much about dropping i just dont want my car to look too ackward and high. it already looks kind of low wit 17"s so i figured if i go 2 inches up the tires will be one inch closer to the car right?

No I guess not. UR rim will be bigger and tire side wall shrinks proportionally.

Car height wont change, just your rim grows and eats into your tire sidewall height. The result is a visual illusion of having much bigger wheels.

Use the tire diameter change calculator to determine the exact change.
But more than likely with a 17" to 19" wheel change and the appropriate tire sizing your overall car height will increase.

This might give you an idea of what it's like.

I might drop eventually, but it's really hard for me to decide because the road condition in downtown New Orleans area is no joke. Even now I have to pay attention where I am going....

Larger rims could mean taller rims/tires and the car will look like an SUV. You need to drop the car if you get bigger rims.

The look of the ride is really a personal preference. My friends all thought I dropped the car, and I have a lotta compliments on the overall height of my ride. I still want to drop it eventually with coilovers, but I am fine with it for now.

Not at all. There's still about 1.5 finger-gap in the front and a 1 finger-gap in the rear. I just want to fill them up nicely.

i have an m sport with csl reps, and it looks ok,but i might get some kw springs in the near future which will drop it another 15mm,which will be just right imo.
i also have the carbon splitters,so any lower and they will be at risk of breaking on something.

Slamming cars may look good to some, but it usually results in poor handling performance. There are certain geometries that you need to consider when dropping a car unless the only thing you are concerned with are looks. If you have the stock sport suspension, I would leave it.
