Never seen anything like that before - bizzare.

Wonder why an engine reasearch facility would want to test the engine to destruction when BMW will presuambly have done something very similar?

Maybe there's some secret plan afoot for the 3.5d, the possibilities are endless. I love a good conspiracy theory.

Thats what I thought too.

If its 14k for an engine then its cheaper to buy the engine unless they were given the car by BMW for free.

I guess we can't question his choice for not getting I-drive or sports seats.

In this situation I can agree, no engine, probably save the I-drive money.
