Lemon Leather Interior

Anyone know how we can order the Lemon interior in the US? I've seen pics online with the lemon on a 135i in the US! But i do not see it on the configurator on the BMWUSA website...Any ideas?

Its called Priority 1. All dealers can do that for you. I have a 335 here w/ Lemon if you'd like to come check it out and see what you think of it.

How much more did it cost over the "regular" leather?

No cost option for cars with leather. Just needs to be a customer ordered (Priority 1) car. Available on E90, E91 and 1-Series.

I've seen Led's lemon on Alpine White in person and it looks amazing. You won't be disappointed. And not an issue to keep clean if you read through the OFFICIAL: Lemon Interior thread.

Do yourself a favor and go find one and look at it. NOW.

Yes, it's a priority one option which means you'll have to go to your friendly BMW SA and ask him to pull a report of all the incoming (pre-sold) cars with lemon interior and then visit that dealership so you can just have a look.

When I did this there were only 2 such cars in the Northeast, luckily one of them was within 10 miles of my house.

I saw it on a Montego blue sedan and thought it looked amazing. And within 3 hours I had decided there was no way I could keep that thing clean (Lemon interior thread didn't exist at the time).

You have to do your research with this color. GL!

It's not surprising that folks assume this, considering it is near white in color, but I have beige in my E91 and I spend more time cleaning it than I do the Lemon. It really has to do with your cleanliness habits and maintenance routine. I clean mine only about every month or so with a simple Mequire's product and it stays lemony-fresh.

It does irk me when people say one color "gets dirtier" than another. I really don't think that the dirt knows what color your leather is, or if it does it does not use that information when deciding whether or not to adhere to the surface. Black leather gets just as dirty, it just takes longer to see it, for obvious reasons. When you do finally get around to cleaning it you have your work cut out for you. With Lemon, more frequent cleaning means less time and engery spent doing so in the long run.
