Gunmetal CSL's w/ White TA ring...thoughts? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

So I've been thinking about getting wheels...I love wheels w/ a nice lip...but I also love the way the CSL's look on e92s. I have an AW e92 and I was thinking of getting some 19'' Gunmetal CSL's w/ a WHITE Time attack ring just to make it look different. What are your guys thoughts??

Second thought I could even do a red TA ring b/c I have the coral red interior or a GOLD TA ring just to be unique!!

The only TA wheels that I like are REAL time attack volks (TE37's/CE28n's) in flat black with a red stripe, and even those I only like on certain cars/colors. I think that white time attack rings would look retarded to be honest, but the gunmetal CSL's should look really good on your car.

gunmetal CSL's look amazing on AW e92's. Its a very rare wheel color for a CSL and the quality/finish is stunning. You will not regret it!!

On a side note, I cannot believe how popular the TA theme from Volk has become. It's shocking to me considering all the "rice" comments posted by haters in alot of the threads relating to Volk. Wow.

im surprised to how many people like the CSL's.
they almost look like they would be stock from the factory imo...
maybe thats what people like? when I get rims, if your going to spend the money, why not have something that looks a little different?
I think my stock sport e90 rims look as good as the CSL's??

Well the CSL gives off that from-the-factory M3 CSL vibe, so it's attractive (along with the price).

put a white ring around and you gonna look RETRO in no time. Dont do it. Just get the CSLs and be like every 2nd person here.
