Radar detector hardwire

Hi,

I would like to hardwire my Bel...

Is it possible to pull a power cable through the ventilation that is between the tach/speedo and idrive?

How do I get to it?

Thanks.

Just search. You can essentially hardwire any radar detector. And I think you can run the wire in many places. Look for pictures of people with iDrive doing similar hardwiring. It may help you understand how it will look.

I know what I want to do, but I don't know how to get to the air vent... If i pop the iDrive screen, is the air vent on the top of the dash accessible, so I can pull a cable through it?

Thanks.
