Shades of Gray tint "meet" today.

First off, had an awesome time meeting everyone. People I knew, people I didn't, just always a good time to see people from the forum

Secondly, I couldn't be any happier with SOG as they were the friendliest, most professional group of people Ive met in a long time. They were extremely accommodating, opinionated(in a good way) and fellow enthusiasts. They were very thorough and detail oriented with state of the art materials. I couldnt put any stronger a recommendation behind them.

Thanks a serious bunch for the coffee and the pizza as well as letting me/us use the extra space to mod some cars. Even though it was a group buy and we got an amazing price, I still felt like each one of us was an individual bringing our cars in, thats how much attention we were given.

Big thanks for Mark (Sea2ski) for putting this together for us

Anyway, heres a few pics I took.

Sorry that I might not have gotten everyone in or their cars. I got a little lazy with the camera and gratuitously gave my car a lot of love.

Now the following pics are the difference between LUX 4.0(on left) and LUX 5.0 (on right). Finally you can see them both side by side and make your own judgment.

Your car looks great with tints... I am contemplating getting tints but just don't want to be bothered by the cops in NJ + I'm already front plateless. Hyper we should meet up sometime, I dont think I live too far from you.

Thumbs up

Shades of Gray did a great job--they were very detail oriented and used some techniques that I've not seen before in tinting (e.g., pre-contouring the tint)

I've very happy with the 40% on my car--dark enough to keep things cool, but probably not dark enough to bug the police.

Nice meeting everyone. Thanks to Sea2Ski for organizing and HyperM3 for the Attache test-drive -- my car now feels slow! LOL

I had the dirtiest car there! Props to SOG for the great work and friendly environment.. Thanks for feeding us and letting us hangout for a few hours. Thanks again to Sea2Ski for organizing this deal and it was nice meeting most of you guys there. Hope to see you guys again in the future after I get a car wash & get some better shoes...

Thanks for the pics - i like the ones that show's the different percentages.

Yeah, if the tint is too dark, it looks kinda ghetto.. and they'll seem to attract unwanted attention from the donut man. I had limo tint on my back and back sides and 20% on the front sides and got pulled over with fix it tickets 4-5 times. The last straw was when I got a speeding ticket with the fix it.

Never got a speeding ticket in that car after ting was removed front the front sides.

there are times when I think that my 30% was too dark, but to be honest, when we were there, its pretty hard to tell the difference between 30 and 40% unless you look at it from certain angles. Things still came out pretty good so I can't complain.
