If the M3 came with non-amber bulbs, I'm quite sure everyone on this board would have known by now.

thanks for the info.
It seems like also X3, X5 and X6 use the same bulb (63217161306)
Tischer has it for $21.22

sorry but not only would that be illegal, but look crap because of the orange side turn signals and signals on the rear lamps??

I dont think anyone mentioned white bulbs?

the point.. is that you dont get the orange reflecting off the crome background creating the "fried egg" effect..

Sorry if im comming over a bit harsh, but for a "colonel" i would have expected better?

I'm not sure about the trend in europe but it's very common to swap the whole turn signal to white. This was and still is extremely popular among the e46 group.

Have you seen them in real person yet?

I agree on the part that it looks really strange with just the front turn signal being white. However, the white led version looks extremely nice in real person. I've had a pair of led sider marker and rear turn signal in both white and orange. to be honest with you, i much prefer the white version over the orange version.

the only reason i am currently using the orange led one now is due to the fact that the front is orange and there is currently no vendor offering a white front led bulb completing the whole white out look.

please read the thread title again

Turning signals.

No one mentioned side markers .

Also the bulb is mentioned in the thread title, so that gives an indication what we are all talking about.

Please correct me if im wrong, but i think you havnt understood what people are trying to achieve here,

The turn signal bulbs are orange
People want a silver bulb..

Thsi is probably why no-one has them on their cars yet, because it doesnt seem to sink in whats being written.

Have i seen them.. I ALREADY said, only 4 posts ago i have them here, and i can offer a picture if anyone is interested, but you know what, even then .. some just cant be helped

I apologize if my tone was offensive as i wasn't intend to offend anyone.

regardless of the title, which i wasn't replying to the OP, I was giving my 2cents on your comment about white front turn signal (the actual white light one) looks like crap comment.

I don't see why my point is invalid?

anyways, it's just my 2 cents so no need to take it too seriously~ LOL

yeah im sorry also,

I just liek for people to be informed, as thats what strengthens a forum as a source of information

I dont care too much for opinions, so info and hints is where i spend my efforts.

But again, sorry to you for getting a bit off tone there, i was trying to help u see the difference between turn signals and side markers

Basically gave up.
There are brass tabs inside that we would have to order 1 million of (literally) in order to get them produced economically.

Trust me, guys, we tried. And Tried. For 6 months. We bought an E92 headlight.
Unfortunately, we cannot do it.
I am considering other possibilities but as of right now it seems pretty much impossible for us to do
