19" M6 reps - whats ya thoughts?

as the post said, as you may be aware i am on the hunt for some new wheels, didnt really consider these but they look ok for the money, what do you think they'd look like on an arctic E90?

the other option from the same pp, is some CSL 19" reps for a similar price

I think the M6 reps are superb, looking for a set at the moment for my 'vert

Beware os some of the really cheap sets with tyres as all 4 rims are the same width and have the same tyres on - the E90 ones should be staggered with a wider tim and tyre at the back with the offsets to match.

We changed the missus old E46 compact from the stock 16" rims to some MV2 reps when we purchased it a couple of yrs ago - the wheels looked cool, but the car always felt a little jittery, mainly down to the change in wheel alignment - the cars are designed to have narrow front tyres for a reason!

cheers, Paul

from my past experience I would never now fit a non-staggered tyre package on a car that was intended to have diifferent offsets as well as different rim and tyre widths

It made our E46 compact tramline shockinlgy at times - spend the extra on the proper staggered fitment with correct offsets

ok, so my E90 has same width tyres front and rear as std, how will staggered fitment affect the ride? please bear in mind the current tyres are RFT and it tramlines like a biatch now and the replacements will be std tyres, i can get the 19" CSL reps list above in a post (staggered) then have event tyres come to my house and fit falken tyres and the whole package will cost a grand - good eh?

If your E90 had 19" wheels chosen from BMW it would have staggered fitment on for sure - they must do it for a reason?

As for the other wheels, in correct OEM fitment c/w tyres for less than a grand is a bargain!!

I have used event tyres also, they were excellent and very competitive on prices

the wheels and tyres are from a different source, the wheels are 495 hyper black CSL reps. front offset ET44 rears ET27 which i think is right, i have emailed them to confirm fitment.
