Oil in a BOV Charge pipe

So is this normal?? I was removing a friends Active Autowerke BOV and noticed the inside was coated w/ engine oil (thin coat) not like completely saturated. I did not know that the charge pipe would have any oil or any lubricant on it. The majority was near the openings on either side, not really in the middle, but I wanted to know if this is normal?!?!

I bought my friends BOV which we removed, but would like to first get a catch can, OR maybe get a catch can within the next couple weeks just for safety measures.

Got a link/vendor for a catch can that will be more or less plug/play??

Well I did a DIY back in the day if you can find it by searching. The only difference is that when I got the UR CAI I moved it around and just drilled a hole into the car with a sheet metal screw so that I could keep the catchcan.
