Aero lip questions? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I am interested in purchasing the Aero lip for my E92 from Tischer BMW and have a hook up locally that will paint it for me for free

My question is that by using the double sided tape, do you damage the underlying stock bumper.

I guess my question is , if the aero lip was removed at some point, would the stock lip now show the double sided tapes or are they only applied to where its not visible by standing in front of the car?

Use the 3M tape. You can take it off with some manual effort.

Heat it up a little bit and you'd be able to pull it off.

The 3M tape is designed to adhere to the paint without damaging it. You can take it off with floss and heat when you are ready.
