So - my first MOT has just been done and it failed - on the headlight alignment!!

So 50 for MOT and another 20 for the headlight alignment.

I have upgraded them but they aren't a higher wattage afaik. Could have been the reason though.

My truck has failed its MOT each of the last eight years for some bits and bobs. Fortunately, the garage has been able to fix it each time relatively inexpensively; except the last time which was over 300. It's almost not worth fixing it anymore. I just hope it makes it to its next MOT.

I had one of my bikes MOTed yesterday and it failed on headlamp alignment. It's been tested many times before and passed (at a different testing station) without problems and as it had only done 400 miles since last year, I can't see why anything should have changed. Good news was that they only charged 2.50 to bring the headlamp down.

Regards

Chris
