I dont' know how aggressive the Procede tune is but STAY AWAY from Valero.

They're known to sell junk 93 octane that are surely NOT 93.
A few cars were knocking really bad with the Valero 93.

If any of these is the case then maybe you need to reconsider owning a luxury-performance car.
+1!

Well said!

They are, but I know our Conoco's get their gas from a local Polk Oil and it has been known that our Conoco stations end up with water in their gas. Phillip 66 stations have been getting their gas from a bigger oil supplier, better gas. That's how it works locally around here, could be different else where.

Even if you fill up with Shell or 76 you can't prevent this: http://www.koat.com/news/15727005/de...s=alb&psp=news

Sunoco or Shell V-Power.

Make sure whatever gas station you use isn't cheap piss water no name gas and also make sure that there are indiviudal pumps for each octane gas.

I use Sunoco Ultra, my car seems to like it. Here is a good list to choose from:

Sorry to bump an older thread, but why do the individual pumps matter specifically?

So it doesn't mix with the lower grade fuels even though it would be very minimal. The individual pumps are old pumps anyways. All the newer pumps have one for the unleaded fuels and one for the diesel. So maybe you get like a teaspoon of lower grade.... big deal. That will drop the octane by what? .00001 octane?
