Option/Color combo feedback - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Just looking for some feedback from the community on the following color combo/option list on a e93 I just ordered for ED:

Black Sapphire/Burl Walnut/Saddle
Premium/Sport/Cold Packages
Nav
PDC
IPOD Adapter
Comfort
19inch 230 rims.

wacha think?

I think this would be a good combo. It would be dark, but saddle and burl walnut looks good together.

Nice.

Only suggestion is to consider poplar (instead of burl) with saddle. You can find pics in the photo/interior threads.

great color combo but stay away from the factory 19" rims.

if you are going to pay 5k for them, might as well get the stock rims and a set of BBS (which will run you under 5k with tires).

This way, you will have 2 sets! (1 for winter and or racing, and 1 for summer or everyday driving).

Then you can always pawn off your BBS' when/if you sell the vehicle!

I would agree, I have seen this combo and it looks real good.

Just be willing to spend time on keeping the exterior clean and shiny (can you say clay bar). My car is black sapphire (purchased used) with black interior and I really never thought I would come to love it but I will probably not buy any other color again.

FYI, the 19" 230s are an extra $1k, not $5k

+1. In Boston, it would require an additional set of winter wheels/tires for the car.

Actually, I'm no kid and I have aluminum. But for the OP, suggesting to look at poplar with saddle.

Just be glad to have so many options to choose from.

Not a fan of browns and black; you would not wear brown shoes with a black suit or vice versa.

Wow thats news to me about the 19" 230's...is that including tires and on top of the 600 for the 18" sports or nah?

230's can be ordered in liu of 189's on E92 w/ZSP for only $1K. Includes rims and tires and center caps with the BMW roundel logo

Well, to tell you the truth, what I think is that if you would have posted this before you placed your order, we could have had a fine debate on your color combo and option choices.....but, you stated that you already placed your order. This reminds me of a little child who takes it upon himself to take an axe to his furniture and then goes running to Mommy and says, "Look what I did...do you like it?"...

Sorry for the brutal truth but I'm just in that kind of a mood today.

Good luck with your car and you really shouldn't care what anyone else thinks about your color or option choices. If you're happy with it, that's all that should matter. Enjoy!

well not really, since it's a ED so he can always change his option and colour combo before the car really is put onto production line.

it's more like "a little child who takes it upon himself and ask his parents whether they will like it if he takes an axe to his furniture".

The fact that he's doing ED has no bearing on when he can alter his order. Any order can be changed up until about 2 weeks before the start of production.

It's more like " Mommy, I'm taking an axe to my furniture and if you don't like it, you have 15 minutes to try to convince me not to do it."
