Thankfully, all of you guys are blazing the trail for me. I'm not yet at 30K, so by the time I hit 45K, I'll have all the inside info from you guys. I hope.

you really need to get out and drive more, BK. You and FrankoQ. You got your car mere months after I got mine and you're not even by 30k while I've passed 44k

^^ LOL. I do drive a lot, just not as much as you guys! I plan on heading out to the mountains for some photography (and driving) this weekend. Or maybe this week, if I can take a day off.

I'm putting my new wheels this Friday (yeah I know winter is coming, the set would probably stay on until Mid November I guess before I slap on my winter tires )

Let me know if you're taking pics around our area (great falls, vienna, tysons) this weekend, I like in

I'm off this Friday and all of next week

So has anyone actually gotten pricing? I just crossed 40k and will probably want the extended maintenance considering what the inspection 2 and brake replacement cost is.

Thanks.

I'm looking for extended warranty. I believe all the quotes in this thread relate to extended maintenance.

2 different plans...

I'll be picking up a pre-owned 2007 335i tomorrow so I statred looking into the extended coverage.

I spoke to BMW main customer service and they told me the following about additional 2 years/50 k miles...so total of 6 years/100,000 miles...

1. extended warranty must be purchased by the original owner. it is "bumper to bumper" BUT was described as not as extensive as the original warranty and primarily for the powertrain. Cost MSRP is $2875+tax
2. extended maintenance plan can be purchased by subsequent owner, coverage the same as original and costs MSRP $1595+tax

Who has found the best price on the extended maintenance plan???

I'm also interested in extending my warranty and maybe maintenance although I will only be putting about 5K miles per year on my E93. AAA wants about $3K for a 7 yr/100K mile warranty that covers pretty much everything but no maintenance. What dealer in the greater Balt/DC area has the best pricing? Thanks.

sterling wants 2495$ + tax (?, i don't know why, but they do).

Was that for extended warranty or extended maintenance?
Who did you talk to at Fairfax?
Thanks.

I just got a quote this morning from the stealership for the following "BMW factory warranty" (not 3rd party).....

Extended Maintenance: (2yrs/50k miles) for $1995
Extended Warranty: (2yrs/50k miles) for $2875

both prices were non-negotiable
