question about HID fogs

I know that many of you have them and xenon depot just released a no error one so i am interested in HID fogs, Ill prolly be told to search but thats ok.

I actually HAVE fog in my area, not real dense but its clearly there, i usually turn on my Fogs for this so,

1. Will putting in HID fogs decrease my visibility since its high output and the moisture will be reflected back to my eyes?

2. Putting in HID fogs greatly increases my visibility in non fog situations at night correct? since i dont have xenons im thinking about good halogen bulbs with hid fogs good combo?

Thanks guys!

1. No, it won't. You'd probably want to get the yellow HID fog light (3000K color temperature) to cut through the fog.

2. Yes, it does. Instead of halogen bulbs, you could do a HID kit as well for your headlamps. Xenondepot kit works for both, although you'd look at color temps 4300K & up for the headlamps.

If $$$ is an issue, I would do HID kit for the headlamps first & yellow halogen bulbs for the fog lights.

Not yet - I'm taking delivery of my car next week. I do want to get HID fogs since it gets foggy also in San Francisco.
