will the 135 6 piston front brake fit on 335i? if it does i see it as a cheap man's bbk lol. as more people get 135 some of them will switch to brembos, etc so they will sell oem and if it fits a 335i why not

This post should probably be in the suspension and brake section.
I did ask the 1-series product manager at the NYC show if they would fit, but he didn't know. I would contact Tischner. They would be able to find out quicker than anyone else.

Considering the price of OEM parts, wouldn't it be more cost effective to buy the proper fitting brembo upgrade?

well give it time and some 135i guys will upgrade bbks so they will sell their oem brake and if it fits our cars than its a cheaper solution than buying a brembo, ap racing, etc.
i asked tisher and they replied until someone tries it they have no idea. i will be willing to see if it fits if someone has a 135i we can spend a day on a swap in the tristate area and see if it fits?

I think the 135 uses mostly E90 suspension parts. This would make it a more viable possibility.
Also, don't forget the stock size wheels on the 135 are 18". Another alternative is the DBA 5000 from Tirerack. Tasty looking two-piece rotors.

im not sure if this helps or not but on bmw website for brake diameter it shows:
335i: Front – diameter 13.7 inch Rear – diameter 13.2 inch 135i: Front – diameter 13.3 inchBrake dimensions (diameter) Rear – diameter 12.8 inchBrake dimensions (diameter) Rear – diameter 11.8 inch any reason 135 got two different rear dimensions?

I just looked at RealOEM and the front axle carriers on the 130 and the 328 are the same part numbers. If the 135 and the 335 have the same carriers than I would bet that the brakes would fit. I imagine that you would have to get the smaller rotors that fit the 135 also.

FYI, the brakes are made by Brembo. I don't see too many 1ers buying a brembo BBK if it's already on the car. But there will be a few that are going to swap them out.

Do we know if the 6 pots outperform the OEM floaters on the 335? If not, what's the point?

My research so far tells me these won't fit an E92, but I can't really confirm it yet.
