Hennessey Tune for 335

Hennessey's website states they have a 50 hp/50 ft-lb twin turbo piggyback for N54 equipped vehicles (135/335/535).

Anyone have any details?

Similar to SSTT perhaps? (if not the same thing)

It costs $995 plus shipping. Def not a Turbo Tuner. Another Xede probably. Either that or they must really think their name will be reason enough to pay double for a SSTT.

It's a flash not a turbo kit. That title makes this thread seem to be about something that it isn't.

In this thread there are some people saying not so good things about Hennessey.

Not so good things? Thats the understatement of the year. How that guy has stayed out of jail I don't know. If you look in Viper forums, you'll see this guy can't be trusted. I wouldn't do business with him. Period. You'll be lucky to get your car back in one piece.

YUP. This guy is a crook. Nobody on the SRT forums likes him either. His Hennessey 500 package on the Jeep is a joke. Too many horror stories with John H.

I don't know jack about him. I never owned an SRT or viper. I was just going by what I read in that thread.

Yeah with one part from my car, one part from your car another part from someone else's car, then, my car and your car will mysteriously be covered in the corner of his lot, as the 3rd persons car will be ready for delivery!! Lol.

I remember you from the SRT forums. I ditched my SRT Jeep last week for a 335xi coupe. Strange stuff....

Thanks for the edit mods.

Anyways, I called twice today just to see if I could get any details on it. One person called me back and I asked him some questions: How does it work? What signal does it intercept? Plug and play where? etc...

Anyways, that person didnt know a thing except what was written on the website. Figures. I was told that I will receive a call on Monday. Which basically means I wont and so much for tech support.

The greatest tuning Ponzi scheme on earth. Best of luck with that one. I wouldn't send my ride to him with someone else's ca$h. End. Of. Story.

Ya no point in bothering with this tune:
1. too much $ for too little hp
2. Shady business practices
3. Possible lack of development (look at how many other projects they are working on, how could they possibly put in enough R&D. This theory is also backed by the fact they only got a 50hp gain.)

but arent people paying similar dollar amounts for similar gains from other piggybacks? i mean i'm new to this, and im in Houston and know that Hennessey is bad for business. butttt people are paying similar if not more for other piggy backs that look like they get similar numbers to Hennessey. And as much searching as i've been doing on this forum. It seems the only one thats got bang for buck is JB2.
