Im pretty sure I can shift, and I have never been able to chirp 3rd. Again, I could be going crazy, but the car does seem faster. The traction in 1st is not the same as before, meaning there's much less. And no, the tires arent going bad, they are pretty much new.

Go do a dyno and see if they did a Dinan flash on the wrong car

The other possibility is the weather got a little cooler and the tires will easily slip in cold weather.

Robert, when you chirped your car, how cold was it outside? Road conditions, and the temperature outside and the temp of your rubber will play a huge roll in chirping along with your shift. Cold air will add significant power gains to these engine...

Well, it was still pretty warm out... mid-high 80s (around noon), so the road temperature must have been in the 90s or 100s, and the tires were up to driving conditions. I remember when it was 50-60 degrees out a couple weeks ago... I definitely felt a little power gain, but I never chirped 3rd gear, and I still shift the same, so my shifting technique hasnt changed since.

only 1 way to find out...dyno it. You will be the luckiest man alive if you got a free Dinan flash. Kills the free all weather floor mats when i bought my car!
