Ugly pipe

bought OEM tip

put it on... fit is not fantastic i have to say, seems like the pipe is too squashed, but i think noone's that anal to look too closely. doesn't botther me that much, but kind of fly in ointment.

overall, I think it's an improvement.

Other then the not fitting properly, it's fairly straight forward job, just cleaned up the pipe, and pushed the tip on, then screwed it clser in with a screw. Let's see if it stays.

you must have a BASE BASE car. Even the handles are not painted. The tip looks so much better though

yes, it is pretty basic, but price was so good and it had only 12k miles on it when i got it. I have cloth interior, aluminum trim, steptronic, auto climate control, multifunciton steering and fog lights. It's as basic as it gets in other words, but for some reason it is Individual! I guess some cheap German mister specifically want it this way (got the car from germany). I also had 16in wheels. BUT and this is big but, the car to me was needed mainly because of the engine.

45mpg all round is quite a thing these days, and then it can pull like tractor out of slow corners it's a bonus.

Also in Europe I think in 2006 you had to specify if you wanted the handles painted. But in 2007 onwards they are all painted by default AFAIK. Doesn't bother me, makes the car easier to find in parkin log.

So after 161 wheels and tip, Blacklines are next.

Then will come CF interior.

pretty good improvement for such a subtle mod. your english is pretty good compared to alot of those that are from europe.
