Although most would say the e30 is the pinnacle of German engineering (and possibly engineering in general), I like something else more.

I love the 2002.

The e30 is still a wonderfully amazing sports car.

Lookswise, I love the M version of the Z3. It's a timeless and classic looking beauty of a sports car with sexy curves, and none of the funky lines from hell like on the Z4. The e46 M3 is one of my all time favorites.

e36 320i limited edition, this is the one where they put a m-powered engine into the 4door sedan and the m bodykit as well
had it for almost a decade and i've driven it for about a year..that car made me fell in love with bmw =)

M1 is also a very interesting car but the $$$$$$

760. with 22's and a body kit. hands down. i remember the first time i saw a 760. on southbeach. before they were available in the US. it had euro plates and everything. i literally LITERALLY drooled a little. literally

followed by e39 540/M5, e24 M6 / M635CSi, e31 850 CSi, e28 535i and I have a strange reverence to the E23 7er particularly the 745i turbo...oh and the BMW Z1 with the slide down doors...

The one I'm driving. It's not rare or ostentatious (heck there are two more e90's an e46 and a 530 in the same 20 car lot at work) but I love my car.

<--this little guy must have steptronic, cuz I never see him move the stick laterally.
